About SACH

What SACH does

The Association is based in the new town area of the city of Edinburgh in close proximity to the Scottish Government and the Scottish Parliament.

The SACH has developed a 3 year business plan with the following strategic objectives.

The Committee will operate within the following objectives:

• To promote, develop and raise the profile of the SACH amongst the actual and potential membership.
• To establish an effective dialogue and communication network across the membership to promote, facilitate and ensure effective exchange of informat6ion and best practice.
• To ensure that all influencers and decision makers within targeted bodies understand the concept and potential of what can and could be delivered through Community Hospitals or their equivalent.
• To have a direct influence and involvement with the4 design and delivery of education, training and professional development for clinicians and other health and managerial professionals active in the primary and intermediate care setting.
• To determine and articulate the SACH products and services that will add value to the NHS in Scotland.
