Attendance at Attend Conference

Attend is the UK's leading membership organisation supporting volunteering in health and social care and is now the umbrella body of the Scottish 'League of Friends'.

Frances Smith, SACH Director, attended the Attend Annual Conference, which was held on Saturday, April 16 at the James Watt College in Greenock.

"A number of interesting presentations were delivered throughout the day, including 'The Future for Volunteering', which was presented by George Thomson, Chief Executive, Volunteer Development Scotland," reported Frances.

At the end of the conference, Attend Alba/Scotland was formally launched by Donald Martin, Scottish Chair, and Gordon Paterson, Vice Chair of Attend UK.
