National Approach To Tissue Viability

As previously highlighted in this website, a National Tissue Viability Steering Group has been established. The Group is chaired by Annie Buchanan, Director of Nursing, NHS Fife, and the SACH is represented by Frances Smith, Director of the SACH.
The Group is currently focusing on the development of a Tissue Viability Framework, a national pressure grading tool and state of the art 'care bundles', all of which will involve Community Hospitals.
