SACH SYMPOSIUM 2009 - Programme

The programme for this year's SACH Symposium has just been announced and it certainly promises to be a worthwhile, informative and interesting event.

The 2009 SACH Symposium is taking place on Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31 in the Westerwood Hotel, Cumbernauld. The theme of the Symposium is 'Shaping Our Future' and will focus on the opportunities and challenges for Community Hospitals. As well as the usual high standard of presentations, the Symposium will include lots of opportunities for discussions and the sharing of good practice - and to network.

Speakers confirmed include Dr Anne Hendry; Stephen Gallacher, Head of Improvement and Support Team, Scottish Government; and Susan Bishop, National Programme Manager, Productive Community Hospitals Programme. In addition, a chunk of the Symposium will be devoted to Telehealth and there will be an optional clinical session focusing on managing post-partum hameorrhage in Community Hospitals.
