SACH Symposium 2008 - Programme Announced
11th August 2008
The 2008 SACH Symposium programme, has just been announced.
The programme reveals that the Symposium will almost certainly be one of the conferences of the year for anyone involved in health care or Community Hospitals in Scotland, with fascinating presentations, informative workshops and a series of highly-relevant discussion groups.
Speakers at this year's SACH Symposium represent many of the different aspects of health care in Scotland, including Graeme Dickson, the Scottish Government's Director of Primary and Community Care; Professor Dargie of the Heart Reseach Unit in Glasgow; and Dr Jason Leitch, National Lead of the Scottish Patient Safety Development Programme. There will also be an in-depth look at what's happening in Community Hospitals across Scotland, which will conclude with what promises to be a lively panel discussion.
And, of course, there's the fabulous SACH Annual Ceilidh on the Friday night, which this year has the added bonus of after-dinner speaker George Crooks, Medical Director of NHS 24.
The SACH 2008 Symposium will be held at Carnoustie Golf Hotel on Friday, October 31 and Saturday, November 1.
