SACH Symposium to Focus On New Anticipatory Care Model

During the 2008 SACH Symposium, delegates will hear about the anticipatory care model 'Keep Well Informed' from Helen Hassell of Healthier Scotland, the Scottish Government's campaign to raise awareness of a range of healthy living issues for the well being of Scotland and its communities.

Keep Well Informed was originally introduced in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Dundee and Lothian, and is now spreading across Scotland with 'Keep Well Wave 2' and 'Well North'.

Keep Well Wave 2 will include Aberdeen, Ayrshire, South West Glasgow and Fife and will also target new populations such as the homeless. In addition, the Scottish Government Health Improvement Strategic Division has released funding for a remote and rural anticipatory Care programme called Keep Well North.
